Phone microphone not working during calls

People keep telling me they can't hear me during calls. My phone microphone not working properly has become a real problem for work and personal calls. I've tried using headphones with a mic and that works, so it seems to be the built-in microphone. Any suggestions for troubleshooting phone microphone issues?

When phone microphone not working, check if it's during regular calls, speakerphone calls, or video calls. Different microphones are used for different modes.
