How do you handle game development asset management efficiently?
#1
Game development asset management becomes increasingly important as projects grow. I've learned that good asset management starts with consistent naming conventions and folder structures from day one.

Another aspect of asset management is version control for binary assets. While Git isn't ideal for large binary files, there are solutions specifically designed for game assets.

Also, maintaining a clear pipeline for asset creation, from concept to implementation, helps prevent bottlenecks and confusion.

What game development asset management practices have you found most effective for keeping projects organized?
