Game development asset management becomes increasingly important as projects grow. I've learned that good asset management starts with consistent naming conventions and folder structures from day one.

Another aspect of asset management is version control for binary assets. While Git isn't ideal for large binary files, there are solutions specifically designed for game assets.

Also, maintaining a clear pipeline for asset creation, from concept to implementation, helps prevent bottlenecks and confusion.
