Workflow for warm, cinematic color grading in DaVinci Resolve across drone, GoPro, a
#1
I've been editing my travel vlogs for a while, but I'm trying to elevate my content with more cinematic color grading, specifically aiming for those warm, golden-hour looks and consistent tones across different clips shot at various times of day. I'm using DaVinci Resolve and understand the basics of the color wheels, but my results often look over-saturated and unnatural, or I struggle to match shots from my drone, GoPro, and main camera. For other video editors, what is your practical workflow for achieving a cohesive, professional color grade? How do you start your correction and grading process, and what specific tools or techniques do you rely on for skin tones and matching disparate footage? Are there any resources or LUT packs you've found invaluable for creating specific moods without making everything look like the same orange-and-teal filter?
