Why is my new phone battery dying by afternoon like cloud web hosting?

My new phone's battery life is just awful || I got this new phone last month and the battery life is terrible, it's dead by like 3 PM with just normal use. I checked the battery settings and nothing seems to be draining it unusually. My old phone lasted way longer. I'm starting to think I just got a bad unit or something. Maybe I need to just return it.

That sounds rough, a new phone dying by 3 pm is not normal.

Could be normal if you run heavy apps, but still sounds off for a fresh unit.

In my experience a factory reset and a fresh OS update fixed a bad drain when a new phone acted up.

If it stays bad, return it and get a replacement under warranty or swap to a different model.
