Why does my new phone die by 3 PM with normal use, best movies 2025?

My new phone's battery life is just awful || I got this new phone last month and the battery life is terrible, it's dead by like 3 PM with just normal use. I checked the battery settings and nothing seems to be draining it unusually. My old phone lasted way longer. I'm starting to think I just got a bad unit or something. Maybe I need to just return it.

That sounds rough, a brand new phone dying by 3 pm should not be normal and it’s really frustrating

Could be a few things like a rogue app or a misconfigured setting but it could also be a bad unit

In my experience a factory reset and a fresh OS update fixed a bad drain when a new phone acted up

If it stays bad I would return it and get a replacement under warranty or swap to a different model
