Why does Jurassic Park nostalgia make Jurassic World feel unnecessary?

I was watching the original Jurassic Park last night, and it just felt so complete. Now I’m wondering if I should even bother with the new Jurassic World movies. Does anyone else get this hesitation, where a beloved original makes the whole idea of a modern franchise continuation feel a bit unnecessary?
