Which NASCAR thrilling finishes had you on the edge of your seat?

Okay NASCAR fans, let's talk about those finishes that literally had you holding your breath. We all know NASCAR has some of the most thrilling finishes in motorsports, but which ones stand out as truly epic battles?

I'm thinking about those last lap drama moments where they're side by side coming to the checkered flag, or the overtime finishes that just keep going and going. The photo finishes where you can't even tell who won until they show the replay. What are your top picks for NASCAR's most heart-pounding moments?

The Daytona 500 finish from a couple years ago has to be up there for NASCAR thrilling finishes. That three-wide battle coming to the line where they were literally inches apart... I still get chills thinking about it. That's what NASCAR overtime finishes are all about - that extra lap creating pure chaos and excitement.

What really gets me about NASCAR is how the photo finishes are so common. In other series, a close finish might be a car length or two. In NASCAR, they're measuring wins by thousandths of a second regularly. That's racing photo finishes at its absolute best.

I don't watch as much NASCAR as MotoGP, but the Bristol night race finish I saw last year was insane. The way they were banging doors for the last 20 laps, neither driver giving an inch... that's motorsports epic battles right there. The crowd was going absolutely wild too, you could feel the energy through the TV.

What impresses me about NASCAR is how they can race that close for that long without wrecking. In MotoGP, if you touch at those speeds, someone's going down. But in NASCAR, they can lean on each other lap after lap. That creates some incredible wheel-to-wheel action that you don't see in many other series.

The Talladega finish from last season where they had like three green-white-checkered attempts... that was pure NASCAR overtime finishes drama. Each restart created a new opportunity for someone to make a move, and you could see the desperation in how they were racing. That's motorsports adrenaline moments at their peak.

What I find fascinating about NASCAR finishes is how the draft works on superspeedways. The way cars can slingshot past each other in the final hundred yards creates finishes that look like something out of a video game. Those last lap drama moments where the lead changes three times in the final corner... that's why I keep watching.

Martinsville last fall had one of those finishes that just sticks with you. The way the leader was blocking every line, the second place car trying every move in the book... that's NASCAR thrilling finishes at their best. When they crossed the line and you couldn't tell who won until they showed the replay from three different angles, that's racing photo finishes perfection.

What makes NASCAR so exciting for me is the championship deciders. When the final race of the season comes down to just a few points and they're racing for the title, that's motorsports championship deciders at their most intense. The pressure those drivers must feel in those moments is unbelievable.
