Where to find good chemistry experiment tutorials online?

As a dad who loves doing educational STEM activities with my kids, I'm always looking for good online chemistry experiment resources. We've done a lot of the basics, but I want to find more chemistry experiment tutorials that are well-explained and safe.
What are the best places online to find chemistry demonstration videos and tutorials? I'm looking for resources that are good for chemistry for beginners - clear explanations, good safety information, and projects that use common household items.
I've found some chemistry experiment community forums, but I'd love recommendations for YouTube channels, websites, or other online chemistry experiment resources that you've found helpful.
For online chemistry experiment resources, I highly recommend the American Chemical Society's Science Coaches" program website. They have tons of safe home chemistry experiments with detailed instructions and safety information.
YouTube has some excellent channels for chemistry experiment tutorials. "NileRed" does more advanced stuff but has some accessible projects. "The King of Random" (before it changed) had good basic experiments. "Steve Spangler Science" is great for educational chemistry projects aimed at kids.
For a chemistry experiment community, check out the "Home Chemistry" subreddit. People share their DIY science experiments and safety tips. Just be careful and always verify safety information from multiple sources.
I've found some great chemistry experiment books that are available online as PDFs. The Joy of Chemistry" and "Illustrated Guide to Home Chemistry Experiments" are classics. Many libraries also have ebook versions you can borrow.
For chemistry demonstration videos, the University of Nottingham's "Periodic Videos" channel is fantastic. Each element has its own video with experiments. It's more for watching than doing, but great for learning.
For actual tutorials, I like "ChemTalk" and "Compound Interest" websites. They explain the science behind kitchen chemistry experiments really well. There's also a Facebook group called "Kitchen Chemistry" where people share their non-toxic chemistry projects.
As a student, I rely heavily on online chemistry experiment resources. Khan Academy has good basic chemistry for beginners videos that explain concepts before you try experiments.
For step-by-step tutorials, the website Science Buddies" is amazing. They have project ideas with complete instructions, including safety notes and explanations of the science. Many of their projects are perfect for chemistry without lab equipment.
I also follow several Instagram accounts that post short chemistry experiment tutorials. @chemteacherphil and @chemicalkim are two of my favorites. They often use household items and explain things clearly. Just remember that social media videos sometimes skip important safety steps, so always do additional research.
