Where do you find a balance between VR immersion and real-life downtime?

So I finally got a proper VR setup and jumped into some of the big titles everyone recommends. After the initial wow factor, I’m finding myself a bit stuck in this weird middle ground. I love the immersion, but I keep going back to flat games because it’s just easier to jump in for a quick session. Does anyone else feel like they’re bouncing between two totally different worlds without feeling fully settled in either?

VR hit me with presence then pulled me back to flat games and it feels like living in two different rooms.

That tug for quick sessions clashes with the big VR sessions and you end up bouncing between mood states.

I suspect the gap is a feature that shows you how attention shifts between VR and traditional games.

Maybe you should treat VR as its own lane a slower more patient habit not a sprint to finish a level in a single session.

A skeptical take you might be chasing VR immersion hype more than a lasting habit and that is a valid living room experiment.

Do you think the pull comes from motion in VR or from wanting to show off the gear
