Where do i start securing my family photos found on an unfamiliar site?

So I was talking to my brother about some family history the other day, and he mentioned he’d found a ton of old photos of us on a site I’ve never even heard of. It’s got me feeling weird—like, how many other corners of the internet have these little fragments of my life just sitting there? I don’t even know where to start looking.
