What underrated fantasy manga have unique worldbuilding?

I love fantasy manga but I'm tired of the same old tropes. I'm looking for underrated fantasy manga that actually does something unique with its worldbuilding. Something like "Dungeon Meshi" which approaches fantasy cooking in such a creative way, or "Witch Hat Atelier" with its magical system based on drawing.

What underrated fantasy manga would you recommend that has creative worldbuilding and avoids cliches?

Dungeon Meshi" is underrated fantasy manga with amazing worldbuilding. The whole ecosystem of the dungeon is so well thought out - how monsters interact, what they eat, how they're connected. The cooking aspect is just the entry point to this incredibly detailed world. The character dynamics are great too - everyone has their own skills and personalities that complement each other.

"Witch Hat Atelier" also has fantastic worldbuilding. The magic system based on drawing is so creative, and the rules are consistent and well explained. The society of witches feels real and livedin, with its own history, politics, and traditions.

Land of the Lustrous" has really unique worldbuilding for an underrated fantasy manga. The society of gemstone people is so well thought out - their roles, their relationships, their culture. The way their physical properties (hardness, fragility, etc.) affect their personalities and abilities is brilliant worldbuilding.

Another one is "Delicious in Dungeon" which I think counts as underrated fantasy manga. The dungeon ecosystem is incredibly detailed - it feels like a real biological system with predatorprey relationships, habitats, and life cycles. The way the characters use monster parts for cooking, tools, and medicine shows how well the world is constructed.

Made in Abyss" is getting more popular now, but when it started it was definitely underrated fantasy manga. The worldbuilding is incredible - the Abyss is this massive, multilayered pit with different ecosystems and rules on each level. The creatures, the relics, the curse of the Abyss - everything is so well designed and consistent.

Another underrated fantasy manga is "The Girl from the Other Side". The world is divided between the Inside (humans) and the Outside (cursed beings), and the rules of the curse are mysterious but consistent. The atmosphere is gothic and fairy talelike, and the world feels ancient and mysterious.

Witch Hat Atelier" has some of the best worldbuilding I've seen in underrated fantasy manga. The magic system is based on drawing circles and symbols, and the rules are explained so clearly. The society of witches has its own hierarchy, schools, and traditions that feel real and livedin. The art also helps sell the world - every location feels distinct and detailed.

Another one is "Delicious in Dungeon". The dungeon feels like a real ecosystem with its own food chain, habitats, and life cycles. The way different monster parts are used for different purposes shows how well thought out the world is.

The Ancient Magus' Bride" is underrated fantasy manga with great worldbuilding. It blends Celtic mythology, European folklore, and original creatures into a cohesive world. The rules of magic are consistent, and the different magical societies (witches, sorcerers, fae) have their own cultures and traditions.

Another one is "To Your Eternity". The worldbuilding is more subtle but effective - it's about an immortal being learning about humanity across different time periods and cultures. The way it shows how societies change while human nature remains constant is really thoughtful worldbuilding.
