There's definitely a game modding revolution happening right now, and I think a lot of it has to do with the tools becoming more accessible. Back in the day, you needed to be a programming wizard to make anything substantial.
Now we have visual scripting, better documentation, and tools that abstract away a lot of the complexity. This is allowing more people to participate in modding communities and create impressive game mods.
