What should I verify beyond a 94% health reading on a used 2020 EV?
#1
I'm considering buying a used 2020 model electric vehicle, but I'm concerned about long-term EV battery degradation and its impact on resale value and daily range. The seller provided a screenshot showing about 94% state of health, but I'm not sure how reliable that single reading is or what questions to ask about its charging history. For current EV owners, what are the real-world signs or data points you look at to assess battery health, and has anyone experienced a noticeable drop-off in range that wasn't reflected in the car's own diagnostics?
