I'm preparing a financial model to pitch my tech startup to angel investors, and while I understand our unit economics and basic projections, I'm struggling to find or build a financial modeling template that adequately captures the nuances of our SaaS business, like monthly recurring revenue, churn rates, and the phased costs of scaling our engineering team. The generic Excel templates I've found online are too simplistic for a subscription model and don't help with scenario analysis for different growth trajectories.
