I've been noticing a trend lately with the overuse of ellipses in texts and emails. People use them everywhere... like this... for no apparent reason... It creates this weird, uncertain tone that makes messages hard to interpret.
Is this passive aggressive texting or just a bad habit people have picked up? Sometimes it feels like the person is trailing off or being mysterious on purpose. Other times it seems like they just don't know how to end sentences properly.
