Okay, so I’ve been watching the VCT matches pretty religiously, and I’m starting to get this weird feeling about how teams approach their map vetoes. It seems like some squads are almost too predictable, always dodging the same two maps regardless of opponent. But then you see a team pull out a surprise pick on what’s supposed to be their permaban and completely dominate. I guess I’m just wondering if the current meta has made the veto phase more important than the actual prep, or if I’m overthinking it.
