What human behavior research discoveries have been most transformative in the last d

Looking back over the past ten years, there have been some really groundbreaking human behavior research discoveries. The replication movement has been huge, forcing us to reexamine many long held beliefs. Advances in neuroscience and big data analysis have also opened up new ways of studying behavior.

Some of the most transformative findings I've seen relate to the plasticity of personality (it changes more than we thought), the importance of social connections for health (loneliness is literally toxic), and the ways our environments shape our choices (nudges really work).

What human behavior research discoveries from recent years do you think will have the most lasting impact?
