I love historical dramas but feel like I've watched all the popular ones. What hidden gem period dramas have you discovered that don't get enough attention? I'm interested in any time period and location - Victorian England, ancient Rome, medieval Europe, whatever. Any recommendations for hidden gem period dramas with great production values and compelling stories?
