What does a sustainable, screen-free first hour look like for night owls?
#1
I've been struggling with morning brain fog for months, and my work as a freelance graphic designer suffers because I can't focus until after noon. I've tried the typical advice like waking up at 5 AM or cold showers, but they just leave me exhausted and resentful. I need to design a productive morning routine that actually fits my natural night-owl tendencies, perhaps starting with a slower, screen-free hour before tackling creative tasks. What does a sustainable, non-punishing first hour look like for people who aren't naturally early risers?

Night-owl here too. My first hour is 60 minutes and screen-free: water, a gentle stretch, a quick walk, then a warm drink to wake up.
