What causes audio glitches like missing footsteps in the new expansion?

Hey folks, has anyone else been getting these weird audio glitches in the new expansion? It’s like the sound effects for footsteps and ambient noise just cut out completely for a few seconds, then come rushing back all at once. It’s really throwing me off during exploration and I’m not sure if it’s something on my end or a more widespread thing.

Yeah I am hearing it too. The footsteps stop for a beat then all the ambient noise surges back and it wrecks the vibe during exploration. It feels like a bout of audio glitches.

Could be a buffering issue the expansion assets are heavier the audio thread stalls and then floods back with audio glitches
