After 8 years of marriage, I've learned that maintaining a healthy relationship requires ongoing effort and attention. It's not something you achieve once and then forget about. I'm always looking for new ideas for maintaining a healthy relationship over the long haul.

Some tips for maintaining a healthy relationship that have worked for us: regular date nights (even if they're at home), checking in with each other about how we're feeling about the relationship, and being willing to adapt as we both grow and change over time.
