What are the most innovative expos and exhibitions happening this year?

I feel like I've been to so many expos and exhibitions that all follow the same formula - booths in a convention hall, product demos, maybe some stage presentations. I'm looking for expos and exhibitions that are trying something different or more innovative.

What expos and exhibitions have you been to recently that had particularly creative formats, interactive elements, or unique approaches to engaging attendees? I'm interested in all types - tech expos, art exhibitions, design shows, etc.

Are there expos and exhibitions that are successfully blending physical and digital experiences in interesting ways? Or events that have moved beyond the traditional trade show model entirely?

I went to an art exhibition recently that used augmented reality to overlay digital artworks onto physical spaces. You'd look through your phone at a blank wall and see animated art pieces. Other expos and exhibitions are creating immersive environments with projection mapping and interactive installations. These expos and exhibitions are moving beyond static displays to create experiences you can move through and interact with.

Some expos and exhibitions are experimenting with narrative formats. Instead of just displaying products or art, they create stories or journeys that guide visitors through the space. I saw a design exhibition that was structured as a walk through different future scenarios" with each area showing how design could address specific challenges. These expos and exhibitions are more engaging because they give context to what you're seeing.

There are expos and exhibitions that successfully blend physical and digital by creating companion apps or online extensions. You might scan a QR code at a display to access additional information, videos, or interactive content. Some expos and exhibitions even continue online after the physical event ends, with virtual tours or digital archives of the content. This approach extends the life and reach of these expos and exhibitions.
