What are the most important behavioral science research findings for everyday life?
#1
I'm interested in how behavioral science research can be applied practically. Some of the most useful findings I've come across relate to habit formation, decision fatigue, and social influence.

For example, research on implementation intentions (specific "if then" plans) has shown to be incredibly effective for behavior change. And studies on choice architecture demonstrate how small changes in how options are presented can have big impacts on decisions.

What behavioral science research findings do you think are most valuable for understanding and improving daily life? I'm particularly interested in practical applications of human decision making studies.
