What are the most ambitious impressive modding projects out there?

I'm fascinated by modding projects that push boundaries and attempt things that seem impossible. What are the most ambitious impressive modding projects currently in development or recently completed? I want to know about projects that are trying to do something truly groundbreaking, whether it's adding multiplayer to a single-player game, creating entirely new game modes, or rebuilding games from the ground up. Which impressive modding projects have the most potential to change how we think about what's possible with mods?

The most ambitious impressive modding projects right now are probably the ones trying to add multiplayer to single-player games. There's a team working on adding co-op to Skyrim, which is incredibly complex. Another impressive modding project is Skyblivion" - rebuilding Oblivion in the Skyrim engine. These projects have been in development for years and show incredible dedication from the modding teams.

Black Mesa" set the standard, but now there are projects like "Skywind" (Morrowind in Skyrim's engine) and "Fallout 4: New Vegas" (New Vegas in Fallout 4's engine).
