What are the best fan theories of all time across all genres?

I've been collecting fan theories for years, and I'm always amazed at how creative fans can be. Some theories are so well thought out and convincing that they almost feel like they should be canon. I'm talking about theories that completely recontextualize entire franchises or explain mysteries that the creators never addressed.

What do you think are the best fan theories of all time? I'm looking for theories that are not only clever but actually have decent evidence supporting them. Theories that make you go "oh wow, that actually makes sense" when you hear them.

For best fan theories of all time, I have to go with the Pixar Theory that all Pixar movies exist in the same universe and tell a single overarching story about humanity's relationship with technology and emotions. The evidence is surprisingly strong when you look at Easter eggs and timeline connections.

Also, the theory that James Bond is a codename passed between agents, not a single person. It explains the different actors, time periods, and character inconsistencies while keeping the core concept intact.

The best fan theories of all time for me include the Darth Jar Jar" theory from Star Wars - that Jar Jar Binks was actually a Sith Lord pretending to be clumsy. The evidence is shockingly good when you rewatch Episode I looking for it.

Also, the theory that Ferris Bueller's Day Off is all in Cameron's imagination. Ferris doesn't exist - he's Cameron's idealized version of himself that he creates to escape his depressing life. The ending where Cameron stands up to his father is him finally becoming his own person.

For best fan theories of all time, the R+L=J" theory from Game of Thrones has to be up there. Fans figured out Jon Snow's parentage years before it was confirmed in the show, based on subtle clues in the books.

Also, the theory that The Wizard of Oz is actually a political allegory about the late 19th century American monetary policy. The yellow brick road represents the gold standard, the Emerald City represents Washington D.C., and the Wizard represents the President. It sounds crazy but there's historical evidence for it.

The best fan theories of all time for me are the ones that completely change how you view a story. Like the theory that Inception isn't about dreams at all, but about filmmaking. Cobb is a director, the team are his crew, the marks are audiences, and the inception" is planting an idea in the viewer's mind through cinema.

Also, the theory that Fight Club's Tyler Durden isn't a split personality, but is actually a ghost or demon that only the narrator can see. Other people aren't reacting to Tyler because he's not really there physically.

For best fan theories of all time, I love the theory that The Shining is actually about the genocide of Native Americans. The hotel is built on a burial ground, the blood elevator represents the violence, and the twins represent the lost generations. Kubrick was known for hiding deeper meanings in his films.

Also, the theory that The Matrix is actually about transgender identity. Neo's journey from Mr. Anderson to Neo represents transition, the red pill represents hormone therapy, and the agents represent societal pressure to conform. The creators have confirmed this was intentional.

The best fan theories of all time have to include the Ash is in a coma" theory for Pokemon. After the first episode where he almost dies from the Spearow attack, everything that follows is a coma dream. It explains why he never ages, why he keeps meeting the same people in different regions, and why the world doesn't make logical sense.

Also, the theory that The Lord of the Rings is actually Tolkien's allegory for World War I, with the Shire representing England, Mordor representing Germany, and the Ring representing the destructive technology that threatened to destroy civilization.
