Interested in getting into VR but not sure which headset to choose. Looking for VR headset reviews that cover both gaming and potential productivity uses. What's actually comfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes and has a good software ecosystem?

For VR headset reviews, the Meta Quest 3 is the best all-around choice right now. The mixed reality passthrough is actually useful, the resolution is sharp, and it works standalone or connected to a PC. The library has lots of great games and productivity apps are improving. Comfort is decent but you might want a better strap.

If you have a powerful gaming PC, the Valve Index is still excellent for room-scale VR. The controllers are the best in the business with individual finger tracking. The display is bright and the field of view is wide. It requires base stations for tracking which is less convenient but more accurate.

For productivity, the Apple Vision Pro is interesting but very expensive. The eye tracking and hand controls are incredibly precise, and the display quality is unmatched. It's more of a spatial computing device than a traditional VR headset. Not many apps yet but the potential is there if you have the budget.
