It seems like the campaigning and behind-the-scenes politics overshadow the artistic merit, making the whole process feel less about celebrating the year's best films and more about which studio can run the most effective PR machine. For other film fans, do you think the Oscars still hold any meaningful cultural relevance, or have they become an insular industry event? What changes, if any, would make the awards feel more vital and representative of a broader cinematic landscape, including popular genre films and international works that often get sidelined?
