Random acts of kindness groups that go beyond social media posts
#1
I love the idea of random acts of kindness, but the random acts of kindness groups I've found online seem to be mostly about sharing stories for social media likes rather than actually doing kindness. It feels performative rather than genuine.

I'm looking for random acts of kindness groups that focus on action rather than just documentation. Places where people share ideas for meaningful kindness, organize local kindness projects, and support each other in making kindness a regular practice rather than a one-time photo op.

What I don't want is another group where people post pictures of themselves giving money to homeless people or buying coffee for strangers, often with the recipient's face visible. That feels more like virtue signaling than actual kindness.

Has anyone found random acts of kindness groups that maintain a focus on genuine, thoughtful action? I'm interested in groups that might have monthly kindness challenges, local meetups for group projects, or discussions about ethical considerations in kindness work.

I'm also curious how these groups handle the balance between inspiration and performative sharing.
