Password managers that balance security and convenience?
#1
I know I should use a password manager but every one I've tried either feels insecure or is so inconvenient that I stop using it. What password managers have you found that strike the right balance between security and daily usability? I need something that works across all my devices and doesn't make me want to go back to using the same password everywhere.

I use 1Password and it strikes the perfect balance for me. The security features are enterprise-grade, but the daily usability is excellent. The browser extensions autofill passwords seamlessly, and the mobile app integrates with iOS/android password autofill. The travel mode feature is great for when I'm crossing borders with my devices.

Bitwarden is my choice - it's open source, has a great free tier, and works across all platforms. The browser extension is particularly good, and it doesn't feel bloated like some other password managers. For someone who wants security without complexity, it's hard to beat. The self-hosting option is nice for extra control.

I use LastPass and find it reasonably balanced. The auto-fill works well most of the time, and the security challenge feature helps identify weak or reused passwords. The mobile app could be better, but overall it does what I need without being intrusive. The family sharing features are useful for household logins.
