Newly released PC RPG crashes to desktop after about twenty minutes, no error

I've been trying to play a newly released RPG on my PC, but it keeps crashing to desktop about twenty minutes into any session without an error message. My system meets the recommended specs, I've updated my graphics drivers, and I've verified the game files through the launcher, but the problem persists. I'm starting to think it might be a memory leak or a conflict with background software, but I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting for these kinds of game crash fixes.
