New remote engineer from Pac NW exploring sustainable backend for climate tech.

I'm a new member here, a software engineer from the Pacific Northwest who recently transitioned from a large tech company to working remotely for a climate tech startup. I've been a long-time lurker on tech forums but decided to finally join to participate in discussions about sustainable software architecture and the challenges of scaling green data solutions. Outside of work, I'm an avid hiker and am trying to learn woodworking, with very mixed results so far. I'm looking forward to learning from the community and hopefully contributing where I can, especially around backend system design and energy-efficient computing.
