How to stop restlessness and self-judgment in guided meditation for work stress?
#1
I've been dealing with a lot of work-related stress and a friend recommended I try guided meditation to help manage my anxiety and improve my focus. I downloaded a popular app and have tried a few sessions, but I find it incredibly difficult to stay present; my mind constantly wanders to my to-do list, and I often feel more frustrated than relaxed afterward. For those who have made meditation a consistent habit, how did you overcome the initial restlessness and self-judgment? Are there specific types of guided meditation or particular instructors you found more accessible for beginners, and what time of day and setting worked best for you when you were starting out?
