How to match footage from different cameras in DaVinci Resolve without LUTs
#1
I'm editing a short documentary shot on a mix of different cameras, and I'm trying to achieve a consistent, cinematic look using DaVinci Resolve color grading. I've managed a basic correction, but my attempts at creating a cohesive filmic look with power windows and curves end up making the footage look overly stylized or muddy. For editors experienced with Resolve, what is a good workflow for matching disparate footage and applying subtle, professional-grade looks without relying too heavily on pre-made LUTs?
