How to improve phone Wi-Fi connectivity at home?
#1
My phone Wi-Fi connectivity has been terrible lately, especially when I'm in certain rooms of my house. Other devices connect fine but my phone keeps dropping connection or has very slow speeds. What are the best ways to improve phone Wi-Fi connectivity? Should I look into router settings or is this more likely a phone hardware issue?

For phone Wi-Fi connectivity issues, try changing your router's channel. If you're in an apartment building with lots of networks, there can be interference. Use a Wi-Fi analyzer app to see which channels are least crowded and switch to one of those.

Make sure your phone's Wi-Fi isn't set to switch to mobile data when signal is weak. Some phones have this feature to save battery, but it can cause phone Wi-Fi connectivity issues if it's switching back and forth constantly. You can usually disable this in network settings.

Try forgetting the network and reconnecting. Sometimes phone Wi-Fi connectivity issues are caused by corrupted network profiles. Also, check if you have MAC address randomization enabled as some routers have trouble with that feature.
