How to fix shoulder and hip edge flow after sculpting for Blender retopology?
#1
I'm fairly new to Blender and I'm trying to create a stylized human character for a personal animation project, but my Blender character modeling process is a mess. I started with a basic sculpt in Sculpt Mode, but when I try to retopologize for animation, I end up with weird edge flow around the shoulders and hips that I know will cause problems later. What's a good beginner-friendly workflow? Should I be box modeling with subdivision surfaces first, or is there a more efficient way to sculpt a base and then create clean topology without starting over completely?
