How do you structure Procreate layer groups, brushes and quick menus for comics?
#1
I've been using Procreate for a couple of years for illustration and feel comfortable with the basics, but I'm hitting a wall when it comes to creating complex, multi-layered pieces with consistent line quality and efficient workflows, especially for comic art. My canvases become a disorganized mess of layers, my custom brushes don't behave how I expect, and I waste a lot of time on technical hiccups instead of drawing. For artists who use Procreate for professional or detailed personal work, how do you structure your layer groups and files for manageability? What are your go-to brush sets or settings for inking and painting that provide reliability, and are there any lesser-known features or gestures you've incorporated that drastically sped up your process, like using the selection tool for masking or setting up quick menus?
