How do you structure a real, non-Instagrammable morning routine for deep work?
#1
I'm a freelance graphic designer, and my productivity has been all over the place since I started working from home full-time. I've read countless articles about morning routines for productivity, but most advice feels generic. I've tried waking up at 5 AM for a "miracle morning," but it just leaves me exhausted by noon. My real struggle is the first 90 minutes after I wake up; I get sucked into emails and social media, and my creative work doesn't start until late morning. For fellow creatives or remote workers, what does your actual, non-Instagrammable morning routine look like? How do you structure that transition from sleep to deep work, especially when you don't have a commute to create a natural buffer?
