How do you prepare for telemedicine visits with a symptom photo?
#1
Telemedicine is convenient, but it can be hard to describe certain symptoms over a video call. What's one specific piece of information you prepare or a photo you take before an appointment that you've found makes the virtual visit much more effective?

I snap a close up photo of the trouble spot with a ruler for scale and a second shot from a different angle so the clinician can judge size and texture even if the video lags

I keep a one paragraph symptom timeline that notes when it started what seems to trigger it and any meds or supplements I took, then paste that into the chat before the visit

I record a short video showing a movement or a cough so the doctor can see what I mean without relying only on words

In telemedicine benefits 2025 the ability to have notes and photos in the patient portal means the visit starts smoother and the doctor has context

If the clinic supports telemedicine platforms 2025 I upload any recent test results or photos to the platform ahead of time so the clinician can review while we chat
