How do you manage game development time management effectively?

Game development time management is my biggest struggle right now. Between my day job and personal projects, I feel like I'm never making enough progress.

I've tried various time management approaches but would love to hear what actually works. Some things I'm experimenting with include time tracking to understand where my hours actually go and setting realistic daily goals instead of vague "work on game" tasks.

Another time management challenge is dealing with interruptions and context switching. It takes time to get back into flow after being pulled away.

What game development time management strategies have you found most effective?
