I'm constantly trying to find that sweet spot between being productive and maintaining my wellbeing. It feels like I'm either pushing too hard and burning out, or being too relaxed and not getting enough done. What work-life balance habits have you developed that actually help you maintain both productivity and wellbeing? I'm looking for energy boosting routines that don't just give you a temporary spike but actually support sustainable energy levels throughout the day. Physical fitness habits are part of my routine, but I need help with the mental energy management side.
What's helped me is setting clear boundaries around work hours and protecting my personal time fiercely. I don't check email after 6pm or on weekends. This work-life balance habit has been crucial for preventing burnout. I also schedule regular breaks throughout my workday for short walks or breathing exercises. These mental wellbeing habits create space for recovery within the workday itself, supporting both productivity and wellbeing.
