How do you adjust to gyro aiming when your wrist fights you?
#1
So I finally tried playing a game with full controller gyro aiming enabled, and I’m honestly a bit thrown by it. My muscle memory is completely fighting against the subtle wrist movements, making my reticle wobble all over the place during what should be an easy shot. I know some people swear by it for that extra precision, but right now it just feels like I’m learning to aim all over again. Has anyone else gone through this awkward phase and stuck with it?

I stuck with gyro aiming too and it felt off at first but the wrist motion began to settle after a few days. Maybe try small practice sessions and tweak sensitivity to match your pace.

Honestly I am skeptical about the hype around gyro in this kind of game. It can feel like noise rather than real precision, maybe the premise is overstated.

ugh i tried the gyro thing too and it felt like my arm forgot how to aim any other way. gave up for a while then came back later not sure if it helps yet.

I found it helpful once I stopped chasing perfect precision and practiced controlling micro moves. The wobble went down as I learned to float the reticle rather than slam it.

Gyro aiming retrains fine motor control because it separates macro stick movement from micro wrist correction. The wobble is normal in the first 5–10 hours.

I still keep one eye on the clock and one on my grip, curious if the subtle tilt will feel natural with time and practice.
