I've been practicing street photography for about a year, moving beyond simple snapshots to really focus on intentional street photography composition. I understand the basic rules like leading lines and the rule of thirds, but I'm struggling to consistently create images with strong visual impact and narrative in the chaotic, fleeting moments of the street. My shots often feel either too cluttered or too static. For more experienced street photographers, how do you train your eye to see compelling compositions in real-time? What specific elements do you prioritize when framing a shot—the interplay of light and shadow, geometric patterns, or the decisive moment of human interaction? Also, how do you ethically and confidently approach candid scenes without being intrusive?
