I'm launching a niche SaaS product for freelance graphic designers, and I'm completely stuck on determining the right pricing strategy. I'm torn between a simple flat monthly fee, a tiered model based on features, or a usage-based model tracking project uploads. I've done some competitor analysis, but their customer bases seem different. For other SaaS founders, how did you validate your pricing model before launch, and what metrics did you track post-launch to know if you needed to pivot, beyond just looking at conversion rates?
