I've been dealing with a lot of work-related anxiety and have tried several mindfulness apps, but I struggle to make the practice stick because my mind races the entire time and I end up feeling more frustrated than calm. I know the benefits are supposed to be cumulative, but sitting quietly with my thoughts often amplifies them. For those who have developed a consistent mindfulness routine, how did you overcome the initial restlessness and self-judgment, and are there specific techniques or shorter, more active forms of practice you found more accessible when starting out?
