Climate justice is often discussed in global terms, but the solutions are local and specific. What's one example of a community-led initiative you've seen that directly addresses an environmental burden disproportionately affecting a vulnerable group?

One solid example of a community led solution is local air monitoring In Minneapolis a group called Community Members for Environmental Justice started a project in 2025 to train residents and place affordable sensors Neighbors in Northside and Frogtown collected data on air quality found pollution hotspots near factories and heavy truck routes and used those findings to push for cleaner air and policy changes
