How can I stop fast battery drain on my new phone with 24/7 IT support?

My new phone's battery is draining way too fast || I just got this new phone and the battery life is awful. It was fine for the first couple days but now it's dropping like 20 percent an hour even if I'm not using it much. I checked the battery usage screen and nothing obvious is eating it up. I'm starting to think I got a lemon or something. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it already though.

That does suck, battery drain like this on a new phone is super annoying.

I get the concern but a big drain in day one could be updates or busy background apps, give it a day or two.

I had a similar issue with a new model, a couple of resets and turning off unused features helped a lot.

If it keeps sapping power fast, push for a swap or service under the warranty rather than hoping it will improve.
