How can I stop crispy brown edges on my houseplant's leaves from dry air?

My plant has weird brown spots on the leaves

I got this houseplant a few months ago and it was doing great, but now it's getting these crispy brown spots on the edges of the leaves. I water it once a week like the tag said. I moved it to a sunnier spot but that didn't help. Maybe it's the dry air from the heater? I really don't want it to die.
