How can I remember the Krebs cycle and ETC steps without a diagram?

I'm really struggling with my AP Biology class, specifically with understanding the Krebs cycle and electron transport chain. I've tried looking for biology homework help online, but the explanations either oversimplify or get way too technical. Does anyone have a trick for remembering the sequence of molecules and what actually gets produced at each step? I feel like I'm just memorizing a diagram without really getting it.
