How can I match skin tones across locations for a cohesive desaturated look?
#1
I'm editing a short documentary shot over several days with inconsistent lighting, and I'm trying to achieve a cohesive, slightly desaturated look that feels cinematic but still authentic. I've been learning color grading techniques in DaVinci Resolve, but I'm struggling to match the shots from different locations and times of day without making the skin tones look unnatural. My current node tree is a mess of corrections, and I feel like I'm just guessing instead of following a logical workflow.
